Safety Information

  • Always trim your wick to 5mm before you burn your candle (every time).

  • Burn for 3-4 hours for the first time to ensure the wax melts evenly (do not burn for longer than 4 hours).

  • Never leave a lit candle unattended.

  • Store candles, melts & diffusers in a cool, dry place (not on a windowsill or in direct sunlight).

  • Keep candles and wax melts away from draughts.

  • Make sure your candle is on a heat resistant surface.

  • Do not move a candle whilst burning & only move once it has completely cooled.

  • Keep candles, melts & diffusers away from children & pets.

  • Do not burn candles when there is less than 1/2" of wax left in the candle - it's time to say farewell!

  • Do not light reeds from reed diffusers.

  • Keep reed diffusers away from heat/open flames.

  • Do not touch reeds with bare hands once they have been in contact with the oil in the diffuser.

  • Do not place reed diffusers directly onto polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, as accidental spillage may cause damage to certain materials.

  • Use an unscented tealight with wax melts.

FAQs

Q: How long will my candle/melts/diffuser last?

A: As long as you follow the above care procedures, candles have an approximate burn time of 30 hours, wax melts will last between 4-8 hours per melt, and diffusers will last approximately 3 months depending on the environment they are kept in.

Q: Are all of your products vegan friendly?

A: Yes, all of our candles and melts are made from soy wax & high quality vegan friendly fragrance oils, and the diffuser base oil is also vegan.

Q: My candle is giving off black smoke - what should I do?

A: Esc candles will give off minimal black smoke as they are made with soy wax rather than paraffin wax. Make sure your candle is away from any draughts or walkways. Remember to trim the wick to approximately 5mm (1/4") before each burn. And don't worry, candle soot is not harmful to breathe in!

Q: There are droplets of liquid on top of my candle - is this normal?

A: This usually means your candle is too warm and the wax is "sweating" the fragrance oils out. Don't worry! Simply dab off the droplets with a tissue before lighting & move your candle somewhere cooler.

Q: Why are some of your candles and melts different colours?

A: Some of the fragrance oils we use have a slight colour, and so can tint the wax. This will not affect your candle in any way!

Q: What are the bits in the wax melts?

A: The decoration on the wax melts is purely that - decoration! All decorations used are food grade quality ingredients.

Q: Do you ship worldwide?

A: Unfortunately this is not something that we are able to offer right now.

Q: How do I make a return?

A: You can cancel your order up to 14 days after you have received your purchase. You then have another 14 days to return your purchase back to us, after which we will issue a full refund for any unused items (or a replacement for any faulty items).
